Create a New Pixel
9. In the Facebook Events Manager click Connect Data Source
10. Select Web
11. Click Connect
12. Name your pixel, and click Create Pixel
13. Select the checkbox next to I don't have a website and click Continue. (This just checks for the built-in Shopify FB integration, so we're skipping it).
14. Select Conversion API and Meta Pixel
15. Click Next
16. Select Set up manually
17. Click Next
18. Click Continue
19. Select all event checkboxes and click Continue
20. Select the Event ID checkbox and click Select Additional Event Parameters
21. Select all Additional Parameters checkboxes and click Add
22. Select all Customer Information Parameters and click Continue
23. Click Continue again
24. Click Continue pixel setup
25. Click Install code manually
26. Click Copy Code
Note: we don't actually do anything with the code. Facebook just makes us copy it to proceed to the enxt step.
27. Click Continue
28. Turn on Automatic Advanced Matching
29. Click Continue
30. Click Continue again
31. Click Continue again
32. Click Go to Pixel Overview
33. Click Settings
34. Click to Copy the Pixel ID
35. Return to SlideRule and paste the Pixel ID into the appropriate field
36. Return to the pixel settings page in the Events Manager, scroll down to the Setup manually section and click to cop the token
37. Return to SlideRule and paste the Access Token into the appropriate field
38. Click save
39. You Facebook Pixel & CAPI integration is now configured.
